Facebook friend Bryan Castañeda showed up in the flesh in Las Vegas this weekend, attending a conference — last night we had a splendid evening of rollicking conversation, good food and drink in this the silliest and yet most civilized of towns.  We started out at the terrace bar at Mix, above, then moved on to the Paris for some excellent food at Mon Ami Gabi.
