You played this for me, this LP, the summer it came out, in an apartment in the East Village.
The sound felt completely new — you were way out in front — and I “went away sorrowing”, for I was completely stunned.
Ha — that album got played to death in that apartment that summer. It really wasn’t quite like anything else. Do you know that cover painting is by Bob Dylan?
