I can’t help wondering how many times in the last two centuries or so the USA has been described as in “near-total moral collapse.”
Quite a few, but it has fallen to our generation of Americans to display the symptom of rectal feeding as evidence. But perhaps I’m just being wimpy. After all, it was Winston Churchill who said, “We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to anally rehydrate those who would harm us.”
