A second rejected cover for my novel, coming soon to the Kindle

Store.  Major incidents in the novel take place in the waters

depicted, just off the Isla Cerralvo near La Paz, Baja California

Sur.  I like the image, too, with shallows giving way to deeper sea,

and thought rendering it in black and white would suggest the

novel's period setting — 1954 — and I guess it does, but I found

the results too somber.

I'll post the cover design I finally settled on, very similar to this one, when the book goes
