They were such a big part of hauling in the Old West, Tristan, but you rarely see them in Westerns — it’s always horses or mules, I guess because horses and mules move faster and thus are more cinematic traveling through a landscape. Reply ↓

No, but I’d guess somewhere just before the turn of the last century.
