  1. Miss you so much Lloyd. Thank you for being a part of my life. We’ll see each other ringside some day.

  2. Lloyd is gone, dear friends. I was told he died at the keyboard. He was one in an infinity. Happy trails to him.

  3. Perhaps Lloyd has abandoned his blog for another love. There’s always a third party.

  4. A party? Perfect. Since I spent a few birthdays (mine and Dylan’s) with Lloyd, one of his other friends is taking me out to celebrate Lloyd’s life on his would-have-been 65th, on March 29.

  5. Laura,

I thought you were kidding, and Lloyd was merely on another of his extended road trips.

    Instead, he is home already.

Condolences to all his family, friends and readers. I will miss him too.

    RIP Lloyd.

  6. Stan and other friends,
    Stan,
Have learned that Lloyd died on February 19. And apparently his birthday was March 22nd and not 29th as stated above. If anybody knows about a memorial or anything, please leave a message here. Can’t fathom what a loss this must be to his family. I only ever met one sister for real but he introduced so many of them here, I got to love them too. This is going to be a long goodbye.
    Laura

      • Thank you. Please keep us posted. You later mentioned that there may be something in L.A. Fellow New Yorkers: Any ideas?

  7. Glad to hear it! I love your “Rear Window” vimeo–I was obsessed with that film, plus the mad score (can you tell me about it? It’s based on something I danced to in character (ballet’ s version of folk dance) class in my misspent youth.

  8. Sorry–that’s a mess. I was just so excited to hear from a denizen of Lloydville. Here’s a clearer version:

Glad to hear it! I love your “Rear Window” vimeo–I was long obsessed by that film. Can you tell me about the mad score you used in the short version? It’s based on something I danced to in character (ballet’ s version of folk dance) class in my misspent youth.
